The short answer
Goal365 has no account system and no analytics. Your tasks, sessions, settings and notes are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. The app has no Goal365 server that receives them. The only optional network requests are weather lookups to Open-Meteo and place lookups to BigDataCloud when you use the weather feature, plus loading any recording or theme image you have not cached yet.
What Goal365 stores
Goal365 keeps its state under the local-storage key `goal:v1`. That includes your settings, tasks, notes, timer state, completed sessions and theme choices. A small session-storage value remembers where you came from when you open Activity, so the close button can return you to the right view.
The app also uses browser caches for the offline shell and for artwork you have viewed. Those caches contain app files and images, not a profile of your behaviour.
What Goal365 does not collect
There is no account, email, password or profile. There is no analytics SDK, tag manager, advertising pixel, session recorder or A/B testing tool. The app sets no advertising cookies and loads no third-party scripts. Fonts are self-hosted, and the themes and sound files are served from the same site.
Network requests
The app is delivered by a web host, and like any website that host may keep standard access logs. Goal365 does not add analytics on top of those logs or use them to build a profile.
If you turn on the weather feature, the browser sends coordinates to Open-Meteo for a forecast and may send coordinates to BigDataCloud for a place name. Those requests go directly from your browser to those services; no Goal365 server is in the middle. If you never use weather, those requests do not happen. Theme images and place recordings are local files, so they load from this site rather than from a third-party media service.
Export and delete
Settings has a JSON export that writes the saved state to a file you control. The reset option removes the app's stored state. Clearing the site's data in your browser has the same effect. Because there is no cloud copy, deletion is immediate and there is no retention period to request.
Children
Goal365 collects no personal information from anyone, of any age. There is no sign-up, so there is no age gate and no profile to delete.
Questions people actually ask
Does Goal365 use cookies?
No analytics or advertising cookies. The app uses browser storage for its own settings and an offline cache.
Does Goal365 sell my data?
No. There is no account and no analytics pipeline, so there is no focus data to sell.
Does the weather feature share my location?
Only when you use it. The browser sends coordinates to Open-Meteo and may send them to BigDataCloud for a place name. Those requests go directly to those services.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Use the reset option in Settings or clear the site's data in your browser. There is no cloud copy to delete separately.
Is there a privacy-friendly way to keep a backup?
Yes. Export the JSON backup from Settings and store it wherever you keep your own files.
