Ambient sound

Ambient sounds for focus, generated in your browser

The short answer

Goal365 includes 55 ambient sound beds and 15 ready-made scenes for focus. Most beds — noise, rain, forest, waves, fire, night and music — are synthesized in the browser, so there is no stream to buffer and no third-party audio player. Play one at a time, set a master volume and fade, and resume the same sound with your next timer session.

What is in the sound library

The 30 beds are grouped into six families, so you can build a room rather than pick a single loop:

  • Noise: white, pink and brown noise.
  • Rain and water: light rain, heavy rain, thunder, ocean waves and forest stream.
  • Nature: deep forest, dawn birds, wind, campfire and night crickets.
  • Places: café murmur, reading room and night train.
  • Music: calm piano, warm pad, soft lofi and dream bells.
  • Illustrated beds: meadow breeze, spirit grove, rain on the roof, sea-cliff wind, village dusk, sky train, storybook piano, castle waltz, sky march and valley elegy.

Start from a scene

If choosing is too much, start with one of the 15 scenes: Pure noise, Rainy window, Deep forest, Ocean calm, Firelight, Storm shelter, Study café, Soft focus, Night train, Meadow afternoon, Spirit forest night, Seaside town dusk, Tea house, Mountain mist and Evening strings. A scene is one sound at a tuned level, so you can adjust it afterwards.

One sound, fade and resume

One sound plays at a time, so nothing competes for your attention. It has its own volume beside a separate master volume. Add a fade so the room does not start or stop abruptly, then let the sound resume with the timer if you want the same one every session. It is saved on your device with the rest of your settings.

Why generated sound

Streaming a rain loop means a network request, a player and a buffer. Generating the bed in the browser means the sound can start immediately, keep playing offline, and stay out of a third-party service. The café, train and reading-room recordings are the exception; they are real recordings with visible credits.

Sound with a timer

Ambient sound works best when it is part of the session, not another thing to manage. Start a block, let the mix run, and let the completion cue bring you back. The sound does not need to be loud; it only needs to make the room feel less like a place where notifications can land.

Questions people actually ask

Are the ambient sounds free?

Yes. All 30 beds and 15 scenes are included with no account and no ads.

Do the sounds work offline?

The generated beds work offline. The café, train and reading-room recordings need to load once before the browser can play them offline.

Can I play more than one sound at once?

No, on purpose. One sound plays at a time so the room stays simple and calm; starting another replaces it. Each sound has its own level under a separate master volume.

Is there a fade?

Yes. A fade avoids an abrupt start or stop, and the saved mix can resume with the timer.

Do you use Spotify or YouTube?

No. Goal365 does not embed a third-party music player. The beds are generated in the browser or served as local recordings.

Can I use headphones?

Yes. Keep the master volume low, especially with noise beds, and take breaks from continuous sound if your ears feel tired.
